General comments
Behandeling amoebenabces of -dysenterie altijd gevolgd door contactamoebicide middel: clioquinol (suspensie FNA 100mg/ml) of paromomycine (tijdens zwangerschap). Paromomycine is in Nederland niet geregistreerd maar is een zogeheten "ZFW-middel”. Binnen de ZFW-middelen is paromomycine voor deze indicatie niet geregistreerd en wordt daarom niet vergoed.
Entamoeba dispar: geen behandeling (apathogeen).
