General comments
Chemoprofylaxe van contacten kan geïndiceerd zijn, met als doel voorkoming van ziekte door eliminatie van dragerschap bij contacten van de indexpatiënt. Zie bij profylaxe en/of LCI protocol.
Meldingsplichtige ziekte groep C
Bij penicilline allergie (rash, geen anafylaxie): ceftriaxon. Bij IgE-gemedieerde penicilline allergie (anafylaxie): overleg met infectioloog of arts-microbioloog.
