Indifferent middel: bijv. hypromellose oogdruppels, 3,2 mg/ml tot 4 dd 1 druppel.
Bij recente oogoperatie, chronisch infectieuze oogziekte of immuun-gecompromitteerde patiënt: chlooramfenicol-oogdruppels (0,5%, 1-2 druppels elke 2-4 uur) of chlooramfenicolzalf (1%, 2-4 dd), tot 2 dagen na herstel (max. 14 dagen).
